The girls and I spent 2 weeks in Utah and Charlie spent one. It was our first time visiting without my parents there because they are on their mission in Texas. Gratefully we still had their house we could all congregate at. We also had lots of Charlie's family in Utah as well and his parents came to visit at the same time we did so we had two big families to spend time with. We came up with lots of fun activities and people came and went as they could. It was good for my soul to see family and spend good times with them.
We went to Salt Lake city one day and spent time on the temple grounds, and went to the Discovery Children's museum as well.
We went to Draper Days which included fun shopping booths, music and fireworks
We went to cousin Thomas's baby blessing
We went to a Pioneer Day float preview expo and a Tongan picnic in the canyon complete with a whole roasted pig -no pics of that event :(
We went to Thanksgiving Point and did the Gardens one day and the Dinosaur Museum another day.
We went to the Mapleton Pioneer days and enjoyed carnival games, pioneer games and then a concert and fireworks at night.
We did so many things I may forget a few....Duck feeding, cousin play time, ice cream eating, slip n' slide, canyon picnics, visits with a few friends and lots of movie nights after the kids went to bed. Loads of fun we had!
