We decided to do our little family getaway for the summer during the 4th of July week because Charlie had a day off. We went from Wednesday night to Saturday afternoon to the Gaylord Palms. We love going to hotels and just swimming all day long and watching TV in bed to get away from it all. We were also able to enjoy some good company with some friends who came for a couple days as well.

The following week we had our Fort Meyers family come visit for the weekend. The kids always have so much fun with their cousins. They came on Chic-Fil-A cow appreciation day so we dressed up and enjoyed free food. The following day was Lia's birthday so Hailey and Aubrey spent the night at Grandma's and played all day as well as went to the movies. Later that night we went swimming at our community pool and had pizza and cake. On Sunday we had a family dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's and then said our goodbyes until next time.
