September (2013)

Brynley turned 3 on September 22. Since we had church to go to in the morning we kept breakfast simple with fruit and yogurt and some microwave breakfast sandwiches.

 She got a new dress to wear to church and a crown from nursery.

 Hailey really wanted to get Brynley Lamby for her birthday so we tracked it down and she payed with her own money. Brynley still loves to cuddle with Lamby.

 After lunch and naps we had family over for a birthday dinner which included Grandma and Grandpa Pahulu, Brian, Mich'ele and cousins Lilly, Lilla and Penelope. They dressed up like princesses for some games.

 Aunt Mich'ele told the story of the Princess and the frog and then...

they played a game of kiss the frog. They put on princess lipstick and tried to kiss the frogs mouth while blindfolded.

 I can't remember what game this was but I think I had a glass slipper that they passed around and when the music stopped whoever was holding the shoe got a princess wand.

 Then the girls danced around with their princess wands to some princess music.

Dinner was roast and potatoes for the adults and the older kids and chicken nuggets for the younger ones.
