After 8 hours of labor and 9 pushes she entered the world relatively easy (not to imply that labor is easy, it is one of the hardest things to do). When I got to the hospital I was already dialated and ready to push, but then my doctor disappeared for an hour and left us wondering why nothing was happening while the nurse rushed in and out prepping various things (That is why I love midwives, too bad they don't have them here). After about 45 minutes of waiting I asked the nurse when I could start pushing so she went to ask the doctor who thought I was pushing already. After about 5 minutes of pushing the doctor came rushing in as the baby came rushing out and barely got her gloves on in time to get her. She is a big healthy girl who sleeps and eats very well. Of course there are always aches and pains that come along after delivering a baby but I feel 10 times better then my first delivery. We are glad to be home from the hospital and are adjusting to having a new one in our family. We are very blessed!

Good job jules. I'm reminded of the words Jason said as he visited you at the hospital after having Hailey. He said "Way to push her out Jules" . He makes me laugh. I can't wait to see her and hold her. I miss you guys a lot.

Happy news Julie! Isn't labor so much "easier" when you've had experience? I'm so glad you and your new little Aubrey are doing good and back home. I hope you are managing some time to rest. Wow, 9lbs....that's big. Way to go.
Aubrey is such a beautiful baby. We are glad that everything went so well. A little bit crazy with the doctor but I guess that goes with the territory. Can't wait to see you and Charlie and the kids. I want to hold Aubrey. Hailey looks so cute with her sister.
