Hailey's 8th Birthday

Hailey turned 8! Since her our little vacation was right before her birthday we counted it as part of her birthday celebration. We also had a family birthday celebration on Sunday with Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie and my brother's family. On Monday for Hailey's actual birthday we went to a Japanese Steakhouse for dinner per her request.

This picture is on Sunday while we were getting things ready for the party. I hadn't heard anything from the girls for a while and so I went to check on them and Hailey had put Brynley to sleep. That is just a little example of what a sweet responsible girl she is.

Feb.-March

The following five posts are from February and March and then hopefully I will post April soon.

Spring Break

For springbreak we did a little mini vacation to Orlando. Charlie has been working like crazy so it took a little convincing but when it comes down to it he will do anything for his girls. We stayed in a hotel two nights and did some swimming and one day we went to disney. The sleeping wasn't the greatest with a baby toddler but we still had fun during the day. I have a bunch of pictures but here are just a few to give you the general idea of the vacation.
My little swim bugs

Not sure how she is sleeping through the loud performance other then she must be exhausted.

love those 3 girls

He must have the magic touch...all three girls asleep at once, even HAILEY!

St. Patrick's Day

We don't normally do anything special for St. Patrick's day but since it was on Saturday this year and I have two Irish red heads I thought I better do something. We started the day with some green waffles.
Then we went to a grand opening grocery store to buy our corn beef and cabbage and it was crazy busy. When we got home some leprechaun's had messed up our breakfast table and left little green footprints and chocolate coins. (forgot to take pictures)
We then had a little St. Patrick's day party with some friends which included our Irish meal, a treasure hunt and some dancing.

Valentine's Day

Once again we made Valentine's Day a family event and even had my brother Brian join us. (He was staying with us during the week while he was working on moving him and his family down to this area, but now they live about 5 min. away) I made a lasagna dinner, and then we played games. We did our now traditional variation of spin the bottle, freeze dancing on hearts, and a passing game. We ended the night with valentine gift bags for the girls.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Charlie and Hailey went to their first daddy daughter dance together. I decided to do a little restaurant for them at the house. Aubrey and I decorated the play room and made a menu and then I was the chef and Aubrey was the waitress. By the end of the dinner the little waitress's joined the dinner which is probably not proper restaurant etiquette.
