It's a Girl!!!

We finally got around to find out what we are having and I am 25 weeks along.
Some reactions of the day
Hailey: oh man. later that day..."it's good"
Charlie: Well, I make cute girls so I just stick with what I do well
Grandpa Brown: Don't think of it as 3 times you're out but 3 times you're a winner
Grandma Brown: I love girls
Co-worker: It's part of God's plan, He's the one that sends those children down here
I of course love my girls and wouldn't know what to expect from a boy but I feel a little bad for Charlie having a house full of girls, good thing he is so good with girls.
We left a lot of messages so those are all the reactions I have from the day, now it will be fun to see what this little girl will look like.

Another house update

So, I'm a little behind on my picture posting. They have completed the painting and are working on tiling inside right now but I keep forgetting to bring my camera so here are my last updated photos

This picture might look a lot like the last one but the difference is the roof is on and the interior framing inside the house is almost done.

Charlie's B-day (and house)

Charlie turned 32 this past weekend. The weekend before his birthday a friend of ours watched the kids overnight and we were able to go to dinner and spend quality time together doing a staycation at the house. On Friday before his birthday we did a little picnic and pool party with just our little family because he went deep sea fishing all day on his actual birthday and returned around 8:45 at night for presents and cake with us and his parents/sister. The next day was Mother's day so he cooked breakfast and dinner and took over the household responsibilities for the day.
Since the weekends have been so busy it has been about a week since I saw the house and it went from foundation to this in less than a week.
May 11

We usually go and visit in the evening after the workers have gone home and Dad and Hailey decided to help out and clean up the job sight a little bit. I watched so I could keep an eye on all the little feet that were walking over nails.

I decided to post a play by play of our house being built. After sitting for over a month as just a dirt pad it should start to go up quickly and then the pictures will be a little more exciting.

That is Charlie helping the cement to cure properly. Something he opted to do on his own since it is not a regular practice in residential building, it should help reduce cracking. The girls love coming to the house and running around playing with the dirt.
I am currently 20 1/2 weeks along. I have chosen not to go to the doctor I chose originally so I am currently in the process of trying to decide who to go to, therefore I do not have an ultrasound scheduled at this time. Hopefully I will make up my mind soon so we can find out what we are having.

Hailey's 6th Birthday

We really enjoyed our spring break. I took spring break literally and slept in and did a lot of frozen dinners so I didn't have to cook, even the weather finally caught on that it was spring and it was a beautiful week. Charlie caught spring fever as well and took a couple days off to go fishing and for Hailey's birthday. Hailey's birthday was the last day of spring break on Friday so here is a post for her birthday.
We started the day with birthday hugs

Grandpa came by and woke us all up with a surprise breakfast.

Then we headed off to Sea World. They had a special Sesame Street show going on so we went to that and then met the characters.

We went to pet the sting rays

Here's Aubrey trying to dive in with the sting rays.

After lunch, the shark encounter, and the Sea Lion and Otter show we made it over to happy harbor for a ride
and then to play in the water

After the water we headed home to open presents and eat cake with Grandma and Grandpa

Once again Grandma made the cake and it turned out cute. It was a fun filled day!

Big News

Those few who read my blog probably already know about both of the big news items we have for the summer time but here is my official announcement to all.
One: We are building a house
Two: We are having another baby
The house is due in June and the baby is due in September
It will be another busy but exciting summer for us.
The house plans are going well, Charlie has been putting a lot of time and effort into it while I don't do very much to help. I guess my excuse is I'm busy growing a baby right now and I trust him. This pregnancy has been going very well so far. I haven't been as sick or tired as my other two which is a blessing.
